Aguaje is a reddish brown fruit with a scaly covering, and a deep yellow pulp inside. It is the fruit of a palm tree which grows all over the Amazon regions of Brazil and Peru. It must be peeled away to get to the flesh. Popular in the Amazon jungle, the fruit is often eaten by scraping the flesh over your bottom teeth to separate it from a large internal seed.     1. Yes I suppose these are limited to American subcontinents….
      Of course it is safe for women… but as they say anything that exceeds the limit is not good for health…
