Benefits of eating home-cooked meal
It is strongly suggested that we should have home-cooked meal at least 5 times a week that is proven to increase your lifetime. Here are some common benefits:
- Healthier ingredients: No one can deny the fact that commercially prepared foods are high in fat and sugar. Our parents make sure to add ingredients suitable for our food with a control on sugar and salt.
- Avoid infections: Cooking at home is a straightforward solution to the problems related to food poisoning. You are in control in your own kitchen, you can reduce the risk of an allergic reaction.
- Time saving: Of course Making food in home saves a lot of time. You can cook food for two times at once. We can avoid driving out which again saves cost.
- Spending Time with our Family: I am sure meal time is the only time when we keep our smart phone away. At home we can spend some quality time with our family adding fun to the dining experience. This is the time when you actually realize wasting food is bad……!!
- Healthy, Strong and Happiness: Home made food is more flavorful and more satisfying. You have the power to control the calorie consumption. More to more eating food at home is a great way to relieve stress and keep you happy.

I would add a benefit- better food choices. With home cooked meals you have to plan ahead and go get the ingredients. You are less likely to eat impulsively and make poorer choices.
