Health tip # 46 – What to avoid…

I have mostly shared tips to eat healthy foods. I thought we should also know when not to eat foods even if it is meant to be healthy. So here are some precautions:

  • Never eat fruits after meal specially after dinner, never. 

Reason: When fruits mixes with other foods it can cause fermentation and rot in the stomach, affecting digestion

  • Never eat more than 3 eggs per day.

Reason: Eggs have gotten a bad reputation because the yolks are high in cholesterol. Eating more eggs per day may raise blood cholesterol Cholesterol plays an important function in your body. It is also used to make steroid hormones like testosterone, estrogen and cortisol.

  • Having late night dinner can increase the risk of stomach cancer

Reason: Poor timing of meals can affect cholesterol levels. Going to bed on full stomach may cause lifetime risk of being diagnosed with breast or prostate cancer. 

  • Don’t take tea during menstruation period

Reason: Caffeine is the culprit. I am sure girls out there would have got advice from your mothers about what to have and what not to have while you are menstruating. But they would have told this. Drinking tea increases your blood pressure and heart rate that will ultimately make you uncomfortable.

  • Never eat tomato with empty stomach

Reason: Tomatoes increases the production of gastric juices thus causing heartburn and gastric problem which can cause acidity.

  • Don’t drink more than 2 cups of coffee a day

Reason: The more you drink the more there is a possibility of gastric ulcer and may cause insomnia.

  1. As ever you come with the most efficient tips. Yes eating fruits after meals are a strict no…no according to Indian medicine Ayurveda.. Fruits are always best on empty stomach, to get the full benefits of the fruit you are having.
    Coffee being the go to drink for the most is given a Warning each and every time. Uhmm this is where i go weak kneed. I could never restrict myself, everytime someone asks me” Do u want a coffee.☺

    1. Haan but u know Indians do eat fruits right after dinner.. most of them just to ensure they eat some sweet after heavy meal but they don’t understand there should a gap..
      coffee is a better drink intact second most consumed drink as far as I know but again as long as it is within the limit it’s good for us..

  2. Hey chiru everything is correct the only thing is the eggs. Three whole eggs are not recommend but 3 egg whites are beneficial and provides a source of protein if we are trying to gain weight or muscles 💪… More than 3 egg white fried or boiled is sometimes consumed daily… The yellow of the egg contains cholesterol not white part…. It depends basically for every individual…. Great tips chiru which will benefit everyone… One question bt u know many tips r u completely healthy or fit at least?😂 I know many tips bt that are only good in my brain, I’m a careless person😢…

    1. Haan I got your point.. But when I did search for more answers it says even with egg white our body manages the cholesterol level itself…. it ok for 3 eggs but if u seat all the day and no physical work then yes I will agree with you..
      Hahaha I got you.. If we have a chance to meet personally then u can see yourself about my fitness..

      1. Reality is basically not possible… So u r u very fit… Actually, one of my friend has a membership in the gym and whenever we meet he always gives me tips of diet, etc… Sometimes, I can’t bear him😂
