I have mostly shared tips to eat healthy foods. I thought we should also know when not to eat foods even if it is meant to be healthy. So here are some precautions:
- Never eat fruits after meal specially after dinner, never.
Reason: When fruits mixes with other foods it can cause fermentation and rot in the stomach, affecting digestion
- Never eat more than 3 eggs per day.
Reason: Eggs have gotten a bad reputation because the yolks are high in cholesterol. Eating more eggs per day may raise blood cholesterol Cholesterol plays an important function in your body. It is also used to make steroid hormones like testosterone, estrogen and cortisol.
- Having late night dinner can increase the risk of stomach cancer
Reason: Poor timing of meals can affect cholesterol levels. Going to bed on full stomach may cause lifetime risk of being diagnosed with breast or prostate cancer.
- Don’t take tea during menstruation period
Reason: Caffeine is the culprit. I am sure girls out there would have got advice from your mothers about what to have and what not to have while you are menstruating. But they would have told this. Drinking tea increases your blood pressure and heart rate that will ultimately make you uncomfortable.
- Never eat tomato with empty stomach
Reason: Tomatoes increases the production of gastric juices thus causing heartburn and gastric problem which can cause acidity.
- Don’t drink more than 2 cups of coffee a day
Reason: The more you drink the more there is a possibility of gastric ulcer and may cause insomnia.
