Custard apple(Sitaphal)

Custard apples, also well known as ‘‘sharifa’ or ‘‘sitaphal’ northern and 
Seetha Pazham in southern part of India. 
The name Sitaphal came from Sanskrit words “Sheet” meaning cold and “phal” which of course means fruit, as it is known to cool the body. Here are some awesome health benefits:

      There is one more story that during vanavaas Ms. Sita used to eat this fruit for 14 years and thats how it got its name.. but Its an assumption i heard.

  1. I think I only about the name that it has got many names , and theories for it. Apart from that I didn’t know any of the pros and cons. Bt I actually don’t eat it much or rarely. I’m also not aware of the season it is available. Good info chiru, nice job you are doing… Research and then write… Well done 👍
